What I got for Christmas

Hello lovelies! This is a pretty late What I got for Christmas post, I have loved being nosey and reading everybody elses Christmas posts so I wanted to do one of my own! I know that I am so lucky to have a family who want to spoil me at Christmas. Below is a picture of everything I got, I was trying to keep everything in gift bags and not use anything until I photographed it but I couldn't resist using a few things so I had to run all over the house trying to get everything together so here I am missing a pair of slippers, a lipstick and a bunch of roses off.

I am so lucky to have received everything I did this year, I love getting the essentials that you get every year but always seem to need like socks and pj's! I only photographed a select few things from this pile but as you can see I got a range of different things, and I got the Real Techniques Starter Kit which I love! My lovely auntie was so thoughtful also and bought me a tan satchel bag, a photoheart for my bedroom, socks and lots of lovely jewelry!

My mum and dad are separated so I essentially get two main presents off both my mum and my  dad, this year I got the iPad 4 from my dad, I realise that £400 is an expensive gift but I put £250 of my own money towards this. My boyfriend knows how much I love to blog and take photos so he got me the camera connector kit and adapter which means I can put my pictures from my Dslr straight onto my iPad - easy peasy. He also got me the Apple smart leather case which I love, I was well and truly spoilt by him this year!

Here is one of the main gifts I recieved from my mum, I asked for this after seeing this on Meg's  blog (Wonderful You) and having the same issue with my skin as she has, she recommended this brand and so far I really like it, it smells lovely and feels like it's doing loads of good things to my skin! My mum also got me the bag from tan Warehouse which you can see at the back of the photo (sorry I didn't photograph it), a Bobbi Brown foundation stick, Real Techniques Starter Kit and a necklace from Topshop.

Here are a few of the beauty related items i got, as my family and friends know, I love nail varnish so I got a range of nail varnishes varying from China Glaze to Essie, those little pots are from my friend Sarah and are going to be so handy for the little gems and stuff I use on my nails! I got other handy things in my stocking such as make up wipes, nail kits and socks :)

(you can see both bags I got from my Mum and Auntie in the background here kind of) These are the chocolate's I got and I'm scared to eat haha! Yummy, these are all my favourites!

Obviously I have a problem with tea because I recieved four!! boxes and a little tea set for one and a mug that I'm going to take to work!

Here's all the much needed gorgeous jewelry I got off family and friends that I absolutely love!

My gorgeous friend Emily is as obsessed with beauty products as I am so this year as we are now both working full time we decided to set a higher budget of £50 so we could spoil eachother! She got me loads of goodies my gift bag was so full, I love the Lush products as I only have a hair mask by Lush and really wanted to try other things, also the Soap & Glory products are some really cute mini shampoos and conditioners that I'm so glad I've got the chance to try. Also she got me a Topshop Lipstick that I forgot to photograph which is shade Depth which is a dark burgandy, as she knows I love dark lipsticks, also I forgot to photograph here the nice make up bag she got me and that's a scarf on the right. My main amazing present was five nail art pens from modelsown that I have wanted for aggggggess, amazing!!!

Something else I have wanted for ages is my own pair of American Apparel disco pants and low and behold on Christmas day thats what I unwrapped! My lovely boyfriend clearly listens to me as I've been going on about them for ages and him and Emily both knew I was going to get some. At first they looked tiny when I opened them like they would fit and 8 year old but they fit perfectly, they are amazing, I'm so grateful!

I am so so so lucky to have a family who buy me such lovely gifts, I realise I am so lucky! I had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you all did too!

    1. Aw thanks! I haven't tried them out yet, I had some Eyelure ones lurking about still that I wanted to get my wear out of, I'm absolutely rubbish at putting eye lashes on and so lazy that I can't be bothered to do it because its so faffy so my friend put a note on the present saying 'make the effort' haha
