North Meet Up | EMTALKS

Last Sunday I spent the day at Revolution in Manchester at the North's first ever blogger meet up organised by Em Sheldon of EMTALKS. Em saw the potential of a northern meet up since many meet ups are held in the south, I'm sure you know Em's blog but if you don't yet - you need to check it out now! I've been following Em's blog for a long time and think she is the most gorgeous, down to earth girl you could ever meet, she was no different at the North Meet Up - running around making sure everybody was happy and comfortable! 

It was an amazing day featuring some great brands and demonstrations! There was 2 for 1 cocktails which were gorgeous - I managed to sink two in about two minutes and then went on to having a glass of prosecco... oops! Also available were Pop Chips, Cakes, Krispy Kremes for all of those who'd skipped lunch whilst travelling down - me and Hannah (Cosmetic Crave) dove into the Krispy Kreme's when no one was looking.

It was lovely to get to meet new people and fellow bloggers whilst being introduced to some other brands. I met up with Nikki (Beauty Shaker) and Hannah and we all travelled down to Manchester together in Nikki's Mini filled with Anne Semonin treats! It was great to get to know local girls who blog and we had a serious girly chat on the way down (and the way back when we were talking so much we took a wrong turning...oooops!) we even stopped off at Nando's in the Trafford Centre for a cheeky bite to eat before heading home (an eventful pit stop as we soon were almost locked in Nando's when the security alarms and shutters started to kick in!).

Natalie was representing Xen Tan and Glam Glow and did a great talk around the two products for us all. I went down with some other bloggers later on and we had a bit of a try of Xen Tan and Glam Glow and I think Natalie may have converted me from a Tanophobic into a Tan lover as the next day my arms had a wonderful natural glow to them, I kept looking at my arms and thinking 'oh arent i tanned?' and forgetting it was actually fake!! We got some Xen Tan and Glam Glow samples which I absolutely cannot wait to try since I know I'm going to love them. 

These are the goody bags that Em put together for all of us, they had such a range of fantastic products inside them and I'm struggling to get through the mountain of products to try! I have been using the Blanx toothpast and the Fillast lips daily so expect some reviews of those coming soon! Arbonne gave a talk on their products and I was really interested by the company - I'm a vegetarian and Arbonne products aim their focus at being as natural as possible and they even have a vegan stamp! I received some Arbonne make up and so far the Primer has my thumbs up! Other brands who kindly sponsored the event were Elemis, Anne Semonin, DermaV10, Murad, Neom, Lee Stafford, Macadamia, Neal and Wolfe and much much more! I cannot wait to try all of these products - it was better than Christmas!

It was absolutely fantastic to meet all of you that came to the meet up and I had a great day out! The meet up really enforced to me how much I love blogging and the blogging community and just re-inspired me completely. Thank you so much to Em for all her hard work, she organised such an amazing, well organised event where everybody felt relaxed and happy - we all had a fantastic day because of Em and her event planning skills!
