Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Gel-Cream Eye-shadow

 I don't really know how I've managed to pull myself together and write this blog post today after the heavy night out I had out last night, I'm rather worried I may have misplaced my beloved RiRi Woo Lipstick which is not the best lipstick to lose is it!

I picked up these Colour Tattoo Eyeshows as, of course, I saw many good reviews online and I've been wanting to try a cream eyeshadow for a while. I picked these two colours as I thought they'd be perfect for creating a dramatic smokey eye on a night out but also for a subtle day time look. As the names suggest On and On Bronze is a metallic bronze colour and Permanant Taupe is a matte greyish brown with a slight purple hue to it. I usually apply Permanent Taupe all over the lid and along the bottom lash line, I then follow it that up with On and On Bronze on the lid and continue with my Naked 2 Palette. YDK (from the Naked 2 Palette) looks amazing applied over On and On Bronze as the Gel-Cream eye-shadow really makes the colour pop.

I wear these on nights out and they really do last the whole evening, I even struggle to remove them the morning after. The Colour Tattoo Eye-shadows create a fantastic base for powder eyeshadow to increase wear time and colour intensity. I apply these using a regular shadow brush all over the lid and they apply with ease to quickly create a professional looking eye. Personally I find Permanent Taupe to be a bit too grey looking on its own, but as a matte shadow it really works as a base for other eyeshadows.
