RECENTLY PURCHASED | Haul

I tried to tone down the spending this month after the ridiculously large haul of last month, but of course I have still managed to accumulate some new beauty purchases no matter how hard I try. I often wander into Boots or Superdrug and before I know it I've spent a small fortune, however it's often such a good feeling because you get so much for your money, Superdrug is like the Primark of make up. I think it's important to not forget high street make up because theres some real gems to be found at low prices. Bourjois have really been performing this year with most of their new releases becoming favourites amongst the blogging community. I now trust that most of the Bourjois releases are going to perform so I'm not afraid to pick up some new things without knowing anything about them. I picked up the Java Powder, Happy Light Concealer and Happy Light Mattifying Primer and so far I've been using them daily.

As I'm sure most of you are aware Rihanna's collection for MAC went on sale at the beginning of the month and I couldn't resist buying myself a lipstick - I really like the packaging of the lipsticks as they really stand out and look luxurious. The colour I bought was Nude, a matte purply brown which I adore, I have reviewed this in full here.

I ordered this Naked Basics palette from Debenhams as I had saved up £10 in points and have had my eye on it for a while. When it first came out I wasn't really buying into the hype and didn't want to go and buy it just because everybody else was. However slowly over time I have realised how much I need another palette with matte shades alongside my Naked 2 palette. The shades in the Naked Basics palette are really wearable and are great for wearing alone or for starting off a make up look. I was surprised at how small the palette itself is as after seeing it on pictures I never really understood the size of it however it does have six full size eyeshadows in there so it's a handy travel size. I think £20 is a really reasonable price for this palette.
