beauty formulas glorious mud mask review
BEAUTY FORMULAS GLORIOUS MUD MASK*, TIMOTEI PURE SHAMPOO

A bit of an odd combination for a post don't you think? I'm going to be doing a few posts in a 'beauty on a budget' series since I have a serious shopping habit which I can't afford. These are two extremely cheap products I use regularly and have been really impressed by which when purchasing both will leave you with change from a fiver, bonus! (head to Gregg's and get yourself a sausage roll as a congratulations for your bargainosity...).

I received the Beauty Formulas Glorious Mud Mask as a gift from a friend for Christmas. I own the Origins Clear Improvements mask which is the closest thing to this Beauty Formulas mask that I own and I often find myself reaching for this mask over the Origins offering. Although I do love my Clear Improvements mask, this mask is much easier to apply and remove (way way less mess) and has great results still. It applies really easily, I just squeeze a good amount from the tube onto my hands and apply, its pretty mess free and almost invisible on the face, which I found a little odd at first. My only qualms.. it's fragranced and it stinks never mind what that Parfum is doing to your skin but hey, I'm no Caroline Hirons and I can't tell you if there's anything else in there which is a no no for the face. This is great for us whose skin leans more on the oily side as it helps to control oil production and tighten the skin, not as spot busting as the Origins mask though.

The Timotei Pure Shampoo is new and contains no Silicones, Parabens or Colourants so that definitely drew my attention! I think it was Silicone which put me off using Pantene shampoo as it adds a coating to your hair which over time can be difficult to break down. I love the smell of this shampoo and it really cleans my hair without weighing it down which means it's easy to style and doesn't get greasy as quickly! Definitely not for those who have dry hair!

I really think you should try these products if you're on the market for a new shampoo or face mask! For reference I picked up the shampoo in Wilkinson's on offer for £1 (its usually £1.99) and the mask is from Body Care and I think it comes in around £1.50. I'd definitely recommend visiting your highstreet over ordering online as it's almost not worth the delivery charge!
