You may have already noticed I changed my hair but as it was part of a two step process I decided to wait before posting about it.
I'd been toying with the idea of going lighter after seeing the likes of Beyoncé and Kim and Khloe Kardashian getting their locks highlighted. I was worried about being lighter washing me out and being too high maintenance so I pore for a grown out look. For me it less of an ombré and more of a low key grown out kind style.
I had it done in two seperate appointments to get it as light as it is now as I had a dark permanent colour on my hair beforehand. We lightened the hair as light as we could and toned it in the first appointment and then lightened again, went further up with the highlights and then blended the colour using a semi permanent color close to my natural colour on the roots. I've also had it cut and I prefer my hair this length I think it suits me better.
I think in the future I will take the color further up so my hair is mostly blonde but for now I'm enjoying rocking lived in hair which is lighter for summer.
