Star Light Start Bright - Lush

Surely I'm not the only one who woke up this morning, realised it was the 1st of December and thought, yes, I can get excited now and it'll be acceptable! I did wake up a bit dissapointed that I hadn't invested in an advent calendar but I'll get one ASAP, what is the build up to Christmas without one?! Last year I had the Ciate Mini Mani Month and loved it - this year I had my eye on the You Beauty Advent Calendar but money is tight and I can't afford it! 

I woke up today with the intention of getting my act together and taking lots of blog photos/filming for the week ahead - turns out I have left most of the products at my boyfriends house in another town so I'm feeling a little silly, in any case I actually woke up feeling dreadful, like I'd taken a blow to the head because my sinus' are so sore! I threw on my 'I Love Santa' Christmas jumper from Primark to get that festive feeling and went raiding the cupboards for something to help. We're never stocked up on anything in my house but I magically came across some Lemsips and stuck the kettle on, because I was feeling a bit in the Christmas Spirit I also decided to use my little teaset that my auntie got me last Christmas - I think it was from Avon but its so cute, I went hunting for some nice tea in the cupboards and came across these Whittard tea's I was given by my uncle - how cute is the packaging for a little box of teabags! 

The Glade candle pictured above has magically appeared in my room so I decided to light it as it's scent is Spiced Apple and it's all noel-like to get me further into the Christmas mood! My plan for the rest of the day is to eat, chill, have a Lush bath and try and get some blogging done!
