Today saw an early finish from work and a spontaneous trip into town due to other plans falling through. Being on a strict budget this month has left me avoiding shops as to be not faced with temptation. Whilst having a mooch around Superdrug, the first target I came upon, I spied that they now stock Real Techniques, was this always the case and we have just taken centuries to get involved or is this something new? In any case, a desperately needed powder brush accidentally fell into my basket, along with three Bourjois nail polishes, I really don't know where these items learn how to jump off the shelves...

An aimless trip to Boots saw me scooting past the Soap & Glory section with my blinkers on as to avoid spending a small fortune on fun smelling showers. Yet a Maybelline Baby Lips may have been sneakily purchased after previosuly spying it on the till in Superdrug just after I had paid for my products.

Next I headed to Topshop to look for a christening outfit, what does one wear to those? It's safe to say no christening outfit came out of that shop with me however maybe a cute polka dot shirt and flowered dress are the newest addition to my wardrobe. In all fairness I'd been eyeing up that shirt for ages as its perfect for in work and out and when something you keep spying but won't part with your money for becomes reduced, what else do you do?

Oh and the issue of Elle was a last minute grab from the shelf in the newsagents upon exit as I spied the Bumbe & Bumble spray and knew it had to be mine today.

So it appears I've managed to pick up many items that I've seen hyped all over the blogs this month, I'm excited to paint my nails and not stand indisposed for 15 minutes to say the least.
